                <p class="lead">Nobody should apply for a job and never hear back. Every employer on healthcareers.app agrees to answer every candidate.</p>

        <h2>What candidates can count on</h2>
        <ul>
            <li><strong>An answer.</strong> Employers agree to reply to each candidate within {{ $days }} business days. A short "thanks, not a fit" counts: what matters is that you know where you stand.</li>
            <li><strong>The record, before you apply.</strong> Job pages show how quickly the employer usually replies and how many candidates they answer, once they have at least {{ $t['ghost_min'] }} conversations with candidates.</li>
            <li><strong>No waiting on closed jobs.</strong> If a job closes or ends before the employer answers you, we email you to say it's no longer open, so you can move on.</li>
        </ul>

        <h2>What employers agree to</h2>
        <p>Posting a job on healthcareers.app means accepting this policy.</p>
        <ul>
            <li>Answer each candidate within {{ $days }} business days, by replying to their email or on the site in My messages.</li>
            <li>Close a post when the job is filled. Candidates who didn't get an answer are told it's no longer open.</li>
        </ul>
        <p>To help, we remind employers when a candidate has been waiting {{ $nudge }} business days, and My posts shows each organization how it's doing: candidates answered, usual reply time, and who is still waiting.</p>

        <h2>The No Ghosting badge</h2>

        <ul>
            <li><strong>Every verified employer starts with it.</strong> It shows next to the employer's name on its job posts and employer page.</li>
            <li><strong>How it's lost.</strong> By leaving candidates waiting. Once an employer has at least {{ $t['ghost_min'] }} conversations with candidates, the badge comes off if candidates are waiting for an answer and the employer answers fewer than {{ $t['ghost_rate'] }}% of candidates, or usually takes longer than {{ $t['ghost_days'] }} business days to reply. The employer gets a warning email first, and 3 business days to catch up.</li>
            <li><strong>How it comes back.</strong> By answering the candidates who were left waiting. As soon as every one of them has an answer, the badge returns, with a fresh start: older conversations stop counting.</li>
        </ul>

        <h2>How it's measured</h2>
        <ul>
            <li>A conversation starts with a candidate's first message to an employer, and counts as answered when the employer first writes back, by email or on the site.</li>
            <li>Days are business days, Monday to Friday. A new message gets {{ $days }} business days before it counts as unanswered.</li>
            <li>Only real candidates count: people who confirmed their email address. Messages the employer blocked, spam, and automatic replies don't count.</li>
            <li>It covers the past year, for the whole organization, so a brand-new post shows its employer's record.</li>
